We have a wide selection of flyers and brochures containing walking maps of Nara Park, as well as event and tourist information from all over the prefecture, so you can find useful information here. In addition, we exhibit works by nature photographer Kazuto Sato, which change with the seasons, allowing you to enjoy the charm of Nara Park in every season.
Nearly 800 national treasures and important cultural properties are preserved in the area around the Nara Park Bus Terminal, including the World Heritage Sites of the Ancient Capital of Nara (Todaiji Temple, Yakushiji Temple, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Heijo Palace Site, Toshodaiji Temple, Genkoji Temple, Kofukuji Temple and Kasuga Primeval Forest). A 1:1000 scale model reproduces the streetscape around the Nara Park Bus Terminal, a treasure trove of historical sites, culture, and nature.
You can easily learn about the challenges of coexisting with deer and how to interact with them properly. Furthermore, there is an exhibit about the Kasugayama Primeval Forest, a World Heritage Site and Special Natural Monument located on the eastern side of Nara Park.
You can feel the importance of protecting and preserving the environment of Nara Park.
Please stop by before visiting Nara Park.
